Who is Dirk Scheele Children’s Songs?
Dirk Scheele Children’s Songs is a well known Dutch Performer for children aged between 2-7 years old. He started his career as a rock guitarist/singer and music therapist for children with special needs. He wrote his first children’s songs for these children. However, all kids appeared to love his songs so much that he got a record deal at EMI Music/Universal.

Now he is a fulltime independent performer for children with 3 concerts a week in theatres and other venues in Holland, Belgium and Germany.
On the Dutch and Belgium Nickelodeon and NickJr TVchannel he has his own daily music television programme.
Dirk’s Dutch YouTube channel for children is very popular in Holland with more than 50k subs (70 Million Views). In 2018 he released his first cinema movie and in 2020 Dirk received a royal award for all the voluntary work he has done for organisations which support ill children and children with special needs.
Dirk wrote, recorded and released 20 CD’s with his own Dutch children’s songs, using music styles like rock, pop, blues, reggae, folk, metal, dance, classic, jazz and rock & roll.
Lately he has translated his famous Dutch songs into English and German, which can be found on CD, Spotify and Apple Music.
Right now Dirk is spreading his English Children’s Songs all around the world and is doing international projects in Canada, China, Australia, England and the US.
Dirk loves to play the guitar. During concerts he also entertains children by creating all kinds of realistic sounds with his guitar: animals, nature, traffic and filmatic sounds. Fans have called him Steve Vai for kids, the Jimi of the Lowlands for kids or the Dutch Dan Zanes. Dirk has an endorsement at Ibanez Guitars. Despite his busy schedule he still rocks with his friends in bands like Whroumm and Guitar Fever.
Dirk Scheele Children’s Songs lives in Holland, together with his wife, daughter and dog
